We were incredibly fortunate to bring Redwood Hills NSMR Klein Rich (“Dicky”) into our herd in the spring of 2023. Dicky comes from a line of exceptional animals, and his pedigree reflects both outstanding structure and proven performance. That summer, his dam, Redwood Hills Klein Bliss, earned the title of 2023 ADGA National Show Reserve Grand Champion and was also crowned Grand Champion at the Sonoma County Fair. Beyond her show accolades, Bliss has excellent milk production records and was scored EX 93 EEEE at her most recent linear appraisal, highlighting her superior conformation, mammary system, and overall quality.

Bliss is the full sister to *B Redwood Hills Klein Beau, who also happens to be the grandsire of our foundation herd sire, Bell Hill Peter. Beau was a powerful, correct, and stylish buck whose influence from the Redwood Hills herd is still highly regarded. With this combination of proven genetics, Dicky brings both performance and potential to our herd, helping us strengthen structure, production, and the overall quality of our next generation of Dawnridge Ranch goats.

E/E – This buck has been DNA tested by the UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Laboratory for Alpha‑S1 Casein. The results help us understand how his genetics may influence the protein and fat levels in milk produced by his daughters. Higher Alpha‑S1 Casein is associated with creamier milk and better cheese-making, while lower levels may be easier for some people to digest.
