At Dawnridge Ranch, we believe in “pets with a purpose and livestock with a life”… We are a small, values-driven farm dedicated to ethical animal care, sustainable land stewardship, and meaningful connections between people and agriculture. We raise and manage our herd with intention—prioritizing humane care, thoughtful breeding, and practices that support long-term herd and pasture health. Alongside our farming work, we create opportunities for people to engage directly with our animals through educational programs and off-farm experiences, helping bridge the growing gap between agriculture and the community.

We offer:

• Premium Alpine and Recorded Grade dairy goat breeding stock, thoughtfully selected for health, temperament, and productivity. Each spring, a limited number of milking does and kids are available from our breeding program. We focus on producing goats that are conformationally correct, pleasant to work with, and reliable partners for your homesteading journey.
• Artisan goat-milk soaps and body care products, made in small batches using milk from our own herd
• Handcrafted, farm-themed goods that reflect rural life and thoughtful craftsmanship
• Educational and interactive off-farm experiences, designed to foster understanding, respect, and connection with the animals

About the Founder

Dawnridge Ranch is owned and operated by Laurie Holderman, who retired in 2025 after a 30-year career in healthcare, including many years in education, mentorship and management roles. Throughout her career, Laurie was deeply involved in developing people and she brings that same thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to raising and caring for her animals. Her farming philosophy is guided by ethical practices, responsible stewardship, and a deep respect for each animal as an individual.
